Happy Mother's Day!

I woke up Sunday morning to find this precious sketch of Spencer (at 1 yr) hanging on the wall. My wonderful husband did this for me. I could not love it any more. I am so thankful to have such a sweet , thoughtful husband who is also the best Daddy to our boys. He is also doing a sketch of Lynden at a year, but it is not quiet finished. I will post a picture of that when it is complete. He did such a beautiful job! I am sure it helped that Spencer was such an adorable little baby boy!

After church Nana, Papa, Uncle Jason & Uncle Billy all came over & we had lunch. The Uncles were in charge of the boys while Michael grilled & I got things ready inside. They took them out to do bubbles. I might have slipped out long enough to take a couple dozen pictures. Here are a few. Spencer loved it, but really didn't want to wait his turn. The boys got this bubble contraption for Uncle Jason for his birthday, but Spencer wanted to think that it was his.

Lynden just wanted to dip his hand in the bubbles & smear it in his hair, then run off. It was hard to get a picture of his head ,as you can see! He wasn't that impressed with the big bubbles.

Spencer did a good job. He had never made bubbles so big, so he thought it was way cool!

After lunch we all went outside. Spencer played baseball & Lynden just got into whatever he could find. He does like to get the ball & "pitch" on occasion. We play baseball almost everyday. On Monday Michael & I were out with the boys & of course Spencer wanted to play baseball. If you are not a good pitcher Spencer will call you out & ask for someone else. Well, he automatically wanted Michael to pitch (which was fine cause I really am horrible). I told him I would just play outfield & he said "yeah, Mom, you play Garfield" It was one of the cutest things I have ever heard!

Lynden is perfectly content here burying himself in pine needles!

Later that night I went to visit my BEAUTIFUL Mom for Mother's Day. We had a really nice visit while we watched a cheap, warewolf movie. I just want Mom to know how strong & wonderful she is. She is an incredible mother & memaw! I love you so much & am crazy about you. I really lucked out with you.
